Power BI BI blocked after attempt to delete a tab page.

Hello,

On a remote desktop Im develoing a Power BI report with several tabs.

The report is connected live to a Power BI dataset on Azure.

I wanted to delete one of the tabs and following message appeared:

Delete this page

If you safe the report later, Power BI

you want to delete this page?

The sentence makes no real sence.

There are no options to answer the question.

The whole report is blocked

What is the meaning of this? How can I solve this?

I tried to close the report but I can't.

Does anybody have an idea what this is all about?

@Anonymous , this comes with Ok and Cancel buttons. If you not getting close and open power bi again.  Close all instances of power bi and then open.

After I had to reconnect the whole dialog window was shown.

Now the problem is solved

I have had display issues with Power BI in the past on different machines or when using it with various display settings. What is your display settings resolution and zoom on the VM? sometimes this causes issues. Also, sometimes on the VM the pop up windows for Power BI desktop don't always display properly, so you either have to use the keyboard and know what the message is saying, or click on the right spot by chance where you know the button to be. I find the buttons are still clickable even though you cannot see them.

but I couldn't click anywhere.

The whole application was blocked. I couldn't even close the Power BI application.

But suddenly the connection severed. When I reconnected the message was clear now:

So this is solved.
