I was working on a file all day Tuesday and I know I saved it to OneDrive. Unfortunately, the only version showing in OneDrive is from last Friday so I've lost all the work that I had done. Autorecovery is turned on, however, there's nothing in the PowerBI autorecovery folder. How often are these files deleted? Is there any way to restore the file? It was set to "Store Autorecovery Information Every 10 Minutes" so I'm shocked there are no other versions of the file stored in the Autorecovery folder.
I've already tried looking at previous versions in OneDrive and it says the last update was made last Friday. Any other suggestions?
Hi kw127533,
Please check if you have configured auto recovery settings in "Option" as below:
If you have configured, you can recover the lastest version next time when you open power bi desktop.

Both of these options were configured, however, when I opened the file there were no pop ups and there was nothing in the recovery folder. I'm not sure if it was a syncing issue with OneDrive? I know I saved the file multiple times but the only version available is from 3 days prior.
Hi kw127533,
You said "I was working on a file all day Tuesday and I know I saved it to OneDrive. ". How did you save your pbix file to onedrive? And how did you lost your latest version? Can you clarify more details about operation you have done?
Regards,
Jimmy Tao
