I just upgraded my computer to 64 bit from 32 bit. Do I need to uninstall the 32 bit version and then reinstall Power BI 64 bit version? The upgrade button takes me to a Power BI Blog. Thanks
You should uninstall the 32bit version, then install the 64 bit. If you are on Windows 10, just get the version from the store. It is 64 bit, and will update itself automatically.
Be sure though you are mindful of the version of Office you are using. You can run into issues with 64 bit Power BI Desktop and 32 bit Office, especially if you are using Access databases as a data source, or .XLS (not XLSX) files.

MCSA: BI ReportingThank you that was the way I went. I was told I need to do it because of "Gateway" issues. Now I cannot get that to work but have reached out for some help. Thanks for replying.
That's how I would do it. Otherwise it is going to just update you to the lastest version of the 32-bit Desktop program.
