Hello Community,
I'm not computer engineer but spatial analyst.
I would like to understand how to parameter files like pghba.conf and which ip adress give in the connection settings in PowerBI desktop to connect to a distant PostgreSQL database located on another computer ?
For the moment I use IPV4 address from the distant computer :
And I get the following message :
Summary in english > Unable to read data - Timeout connection, no answer from the host
Thank you for your suggestions.

Hi @amitchandak,
Thanks you for these differents posts, I used this one > https://niftit.com/connecting-power-bi-to-postgresql/
It works great !
Maybe I would add that sometimes, the firewall could be at the origine of this Timeout expired error :
Juste remove the firewall and it works 👍
