Hello all,
I am working with a dataset that provides a given population by 5-year age cohorts and sex. A common and concise chart to create with this data woudl be a population age pyramid. Oddly, I do not see it as part of BI or in the visual gallery (which is great!).
I have included a link to an image of what I am trying to create Population Age Pyramid. I am new to R but if someone can provide me general code for creating an R visual to achieve my goal I can give that a shot.
Finally, if this post should be submitted to another, more appropriate board, please let me know.
Thanks. I appreciate any guidance you can provide.

Hi @jrm55,
I think custom visual in gallery could help you in this case: https://app.powerbi.com/visuals/show/TornadoChart1452517688218
Tips: you should add one more calculated column or manually input column as order column for your age group, so you could sort the chart as age pyramid

Tornado chart is gone from the marketplace!
Thank you for the reply. I grabbed the custom visual and pivoted my data to work with the tornado chart.
