Plot graphs when it involves a text in one axis and date on another y-axis

I want to plot a graph with text in one axis and date on another. The problem is powerbi always counts the dates instead of just plotting the points. is there way to circumvent this?

Hi @Anonymous

The Values in the visual fields is a function operation on the field value, so when you put the date into the Values, it can only count, but cannot do other calculations. What effect are you trying to achieve ? Can it be reflected in pictures or data ? It will help us to deal with the issue easier .
