Place appears in other country then excepted

I have tried everything, but Barneveld keeps appearing in the USA, but I want it to be in the Netherlands on the map.

To add a country name after it like these didn't work, even any place was no longer on the map:

Barneveld, NLD

Barneveld, Netherlands

Barneveld NLD

Barneveld Netherlands

Hi Wim,

Which map did you use? It seems good. Please refer to the snapshot below. BTW, the best way could be using the longitude/latitude pairs.

you can try adding the latitude and longitude which is the best and most exact way to add the point on the map
