I am new at Power BI and I have this issue. I have many employees whos start date of working is different, some of them have only one date, some of them has several because of their position changing. What I need to do is to get a sum of employees which company recruited in that year. For example if Tom start date was 2022-01-01 I want him as one count in 2022 year. I can do that, but once employees have several start dates (e.g. John ) it's not that simple. I want to get only the first date as his start date - John 2021 also (as one count). Same with Ron. And then to sum all of them by year. Im not sure what to use in this case: measure, new column or maybe both. I attached example photo below.
