Percentage Calculation

Hi:

Below is the formula for a column that calculates, for each purchase order, the percentage outstanding.

By "percentage outstanding", I mean how much of the quantity of each purchased line item has been received into the warehouse.

When there is only one line item on the purchase order, this formula works great.

But, when there is at least two line items, the results are skewed.

The best example is a purchase order containing two line items whose quantities have been fully received.

The result of the formula will be 200%, instead of 100%.

How do I fix this?

Overall % Outstanding = DIVIDE(purchaseDocumentLines[Line Value Outstanding], purchaseDocumentLines[Original Comittment], 0)

@jellis1971 Couple ways to fix this, change your aggregation to AVERAGE instead of SUM is the first way. Otherwise you could construct the column to calculate the percentage of the full order but that doesn't really seem right.
