I have below data and I have created simple table visualization in Power BI.
ID | status | Range |
1 | C | 730 |
2 | D | 650 |
3 | D | 690 |
4 | P | 690 |
5 | C | 690 |
6 | C | 710 |
7 | D | 750 |
8 | C | 650 |
9 | C | 690 |
10 | D | 690 |
11 | C | 770 |
12 | C | 690 |
13 | D | 690 |
14 | C | 730 |
15 | C | 710 |
16 | C | 650 |
17 | P | 650 |
18 | C | 670 |
19 | 3 | 670 |
20 | P | 770 |
When the user clicks on any status in table 1, I want to find Percent total from the whole dataset which is 20 records.
i.e. User clicks on D result should display total records with Status D in that range/ total records in that range.
For 650 range there are 4 records and one record is with Status D, so 650 --- 25%(1/4)
What is the best way to achieve this?
Range | Percent of D records |
650 | 25.00% |
690 | 42.86% |
750 | 100.00% |

@ksangha Can you explain the calculation for those numbers 25%, 42.86% and 100%?
Hi @ksangha,
How do you get for Range 750, 100% and 42.86% for range 690 when selecting D?
Let me know and i can give it a try.
Ninter
There are 4 records in Range 650 and one record is Status D, so for 650, 1/4=25%.
