Hello, colleagues.
Is it possible to "reproduce" IMDB functionality in Power BI, interactively?
Here https://www.imdb.com/search/common/ you can find 2 persons in the same title. Or the 2 titles with the same people.
For example, if you're interested, where Arnie and Sly acted together, you can do such search.
Or, if you're interested about the staff who worked and acted in Tangled and Moana, you can do this search.
However, this search is only limited to 2 actors or titles.
I wonder, is it possible to upload IMDB (or similar) dataset into Power BI and search for 2, 3 and more actors. Sometimes with AND, OR, NOT.
I understand, that this could be possible using DAX.
But the real question is - is this possible to do interactively, by business user|manager?
If movie/actors are too "far away" from a business scenario, it could be replaced by products and project managers, or districts and sales managers.
For example, in which disctrict(s) these 2 managers sold items? these 3 managers? these 3, but excluding this one?
I thought that this a quite common problem, but I can't find any interactive solution (not Power Query, not DAX).
Some intermediate steps in Power Query or DAX are ok, but the final solution must be interactive.
Thanks for any suggestions!
Maybe report filter parameter can meet your requirement. You may refer to: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-url-filters
