Hi Team,
I have two columns
Amount Status
128.6 CR if(right([Amount],2)="CR","Credit Received","Others"))
Now i want to remove CR from Amount Column
what is the best way ?
or is there a paste special option in power bi so that i can perform in Status columns so that the result remains and formula goes off?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Assuming you have an amount column with data that is in text format, you can use the split function in Power BI to split the amount into two different columns, one for the numeric value and another for the 2 letter code. You can then use the 2 letter code column to add another conditional column for computing the status.

You can create a new column and insert the dax as follows:
Status_Column= LEFT(table[columnname],LEN(table[columnname])-2)
