Passing input value from user to otther

Hello All,

I am quite in problem . The problem is:

I have custom input text option in my custom connector  where user enters value ,  I need value in other method than '.contents' .

IS there any way to do so ? is there way to pass input data to other method?

IS there any way I can define a global variable that changes as per input?

Sorry for before .

I am developin a custom connector . So  for the connector I have to take value from the user and  use that user input value in another method.

Making it Simpler : I  want an user input value and  want to use it in authentication and other calculation purposes  So is there any way to do so ?

Also is there any way to have a variable declared globally ?
