Pass Column value as filter from one pbix file to another.

Hi,

Is it possible to pass value from one column in pbix file to another pbix file. It is similar to drill through functionality avaialble in any BI tool.

e.g If I have department data in one pbix file and when i click on any one dept ID my new report which is empoyee should open and dispaly employee details for that dept.

Hi ajaju,

Sorry to inform you that, we dont have this feature in Power BI. As you already told, Drill through can pass values from one page to another page in a report.

But, one .pbix to another .pbix is not possible in Power BI.

Thanks for the response. Common feature across all tool and something that should be added to power BI too.

True.

Many reporting tools like SSRS have this feature and this should be added in Power BI as well.
