Paginated report with parameters and using PBI dataset from the service

I am in the process of making a paginated report in PBI Report Builder, which uses a dataset from a PBI dataset from the service. In this connection, I have used the Performance Analyzer to copy the DAX query from a PBI visual and paste the code in the query designer in report builder. But to be able to insert the code in the Query Designer, I must first go out of design mode. After inserting the DAX code, it is not possible for me to add parameters, as I can not switch to design mode again without deleting the DAX code.

Among other things, I have tried to insert a parameter as shown in Chris Finlans' video:

Is there anyone here in the community who has a best practice solution for this, or a reference to an article where the solution is described.

I'd love to help you on this one but your query level is a bit beyond my level at the moment.

I'm having my own Paginated Report query issues today haha.
