Paginated report based on Excel file

Hello friend,

I need to build a paginated report based on an excel file I’ve got from a customer.

The excel is in OneDrive. I don’t see OneDrive or Excel as data sources in Report Builder

What is the way to do it?

Thanks!

Hi @michaelshparber ,

Please follow the steps as below.

1. Open the excel in One Drive using and get the link of it.

1.1.PNG1.PNG

2. Then we can use the Web connector of Power bi desktop to get the data of the excel. We will get a link like

https://xxxx.sharepoint.com/personal/frankxxxx/Documents/Financial%20Sample.xlsx?web=1

Please notice here we should remove ?web=1 inthe end of link. Then paste the final link to the web connector.
