Hello community,
I have not touched Paginated Report or SSRS report for a long time so forgot how to do them.
I have several data sets in one report, all of the data set are connected to each other by "ID". One of the data sets, I set three variables in there, which are "Presented by", "Location", and "Date".
If I select the parameters of those above values, it should return back a list of the "ID" that meet those parameters. I then want to use the "ID" list so all other datasets are also filtered by the return "IDs".
However, I don't know how to do that, my report is not filtering and I know the reason is because all other data sets, need to have a query somewhere says " ID in x,x,x,", etc.
Can anyone advice me on how to achieve this or refer me to a YouTube video thatt covers this topic.
Thank you in advance!
@AliSafa @lliu08 check out my session on the paginated report that walks thru all this.

Same issue for me,
The parameter in the paginated report does not filter the data!

@lliu08 what is your data source for the paginated report? Is it Power BI data? if it is then you need to use RSCUSTOMDAXFILTER. It is funny you asked this, I'm speaking in a meeting this Thursday at 6 pm PST.
Here is more about RSCUSTOMDAXFILTER
and here is the link for the meetup in case you are interested.
