Page Navigation option in Action Type of Button is not Visible

Created a button but the option of Page Navigation in Action Type is missing. I am using 2019 version. Because of organizational coordination and refresh issue, I am bound to work on 2019 version. Is there any way to use Page navigation option in Action type for button in 2019 version? Is there any other solution except upgrading the version?

Hi @farid_0709 ,

As far as I know, Power BI Desktop 2019 version may not support "Page Navigation". So you couldn't find it in Action. If you want to create a dynamic Page Navigation, the best way for you to use fx in this option. So I suggest you to update your Power BI Desktop Version to the latest version.

For reference:

If page navigation is unavailable to you try using bookmarks instead - set a bookmark on the page you want to navigate to and assign that to you action.

Example is below of page nav using bookmarks

Bookmark Pages.pbix

I am using a measure name "Page Access = SELECTEDVALUE(Security[Dashboard])" in the button. The button text changed based on the selected slicer. My main purpose is to implement page Level Security. Your solution would work if my button is static. But, my button fuction is dynamic based on the selected Slicer

What @v-rzhou-msft @says is correct. Unfortunately if you are on an older version of report server and this is why you cannot update the. There is no way to do dynamic page navigation.
