Hi all,
I have a table full of sales data for 2018 & 2017. I can happily show the value for PY, however I want to show this as a cumulative figure in a graph by month. As in my month starts at zero and accumuluates until the 31st.
My month to date cumulative figure works...
MTDCU = Calculate(sum('salesdata'[dailyfigure]), DATESMTD('date'[Date]))
My Previous year works... (not cumulative)
PY = Calculate(sum('salesdata'[dailyfigure]), SAMPEPERIODLASTYEAR('date'[Date]))
But no matter what I try to get the sales data to show last years monthly cumulative figures just don't work. No data is shown. IE is blank.
Any help before I lose my mind!
Thanks

HI, @asjam86
For PY MTD , you could just use this simple formula:
MTDCU = Calculate(sum('salesdata'[dailyfigure]), DATESMTD('date'[Date]))
PY = Calculate( [MTDCU] , SAMPEPERIODLASTYEAR('date'[Date]))
If not your case, please share your sample data and expected output.

Lin

Thanks for your help. I think I went snow blind yesterday looking at data. Makes perfect sense.
Thank you.
