Dear all,
I have no idea why this happen and hope some expert here can help.
Refer to this simple relationship:
This is what i want to do. I want to get the value from date slicer in the report and use this in the FactCustSalesQuotation table calculated column. Following are my formula:
Date table
DateSlicerSelection = CALCULATE( MAX('Date'[Date]), ALLSELECTED('Date') )
FactCustSalesQuotation
QuotationFinalStatus = 'Date'[DateSlicerSelection]
This is my outcome:
The DateSlicerSelection is correctly showing the expected date based on my date slicer selection in the report. However, when I use this in the FactCustSalesQuotation report, it does not work. It gave me the MAX date of my date table instead.
Why is this happening? Where did I got it wrong?
Please help all...
Thanks in advance.

@Anonymous,
Please create a QuotationFinalStatus measure instead of caculated column as calculated column will not react to slicer selection, see this Power BI KB.
