PBIX measures in a tabular model

We use tabular models extensively using Report Server Oct 2017 versions of PBI & Server software and have started to encounter PBI errors when filtering a graph on display. We have followed the circumlocution of the documentation that is available on the website but cannot locate a definitive statement.

Usually we hold all measures in the Tabular Model but can we also include measres defined in the PBIX?

I suspect this is the cause of the errors.

Could you please provide more detailed information about your scenario?

What errors did you encounter? Which online document did you refer to? What do you mean "can we also include measres defined in the PBIX"? Do you mean use the measures created in Tabular model or define new measures in desktop?
