PBIX file not able to open anymore

Hi BI community,

I have been working on a project and made a power BI report. After getting half done I publish it to the Power BI service platform but now I want to add more in the file but facing problems:

- It shows "Microsoft mashup container error"

- My BI consultant told me it is taking 22 GB RAM while you try to open it.

- If somehow the file opens by luck then suddenly it crashes.

Can anyone help me on this issue, how to overcome it?

Many thanks in advance !!!!

Regards,

Sahil

@goyalsa . Open an empty power bi file. Open Options and setting and options and increase cache size. Close all power bi files and open the required file again. Check that browsers are not taking too much of memory

 Hi @amitchandak,

After increasing the cache size, I need to open the PBIX file in it or separately.

Thanks!!

In this case you should probably activate incremental refresh and set the parameters in your file to have the minimum acceptable data to work with your model design.

But you have to be able to open the file in the first place.

I am not sure whether this could help or not, but I would try to significantly increase the page file size (assuming you are using SSD).
