PBIX File Crashing with XML

Hi all,

I have created a PBIX file using 68 queries that pull XML from the web.  This is from our web-scraping tool that we can connect to using an API web service key.  Unfortunately the report is almost unmanageable and crashes within about 20 minutes of being opened.

All data sources are connected like this:

Is there a better way to configure these data sources so that the PBIX file doesn't crash?  Thanks in advance!

Hi @Anonymous ,

Check the topic and see if it helps.

If the program crashes because of the large amount of data and calculations, maybe you need to improve the hardware of computer.

Best Regards,

Jay

Hi @v-jayw-msft, thanks for your response, but the method listed in the link will not work.  The XML files being pulled into my PBIX file are pulled down from web, not from a local drive.
