PBI taking too little CPU, RAM

Hi all,

I have no idea what happened over the weekend, but everything started to act in a weird way after that.

I am unable to refresh my report in desktop as its taking ages.

I noticed that instead of usual resources that PBI is using (in my case 6-8gb of ram and 40%+ of CPU)

its using 2gb of ram and 5% of CPU.

Now "evaluating"  during the refresh takes tens of minutes and same for "creating a data model".

Can it be Power BI related or does PBI scale based on speed at which it receive information?

Maybe important point, I changed my physical location over the weekend from London to Mexico, so maybe it can have something to do with that? Internet speed is pretty similar.

Thanks a lot.

Matej

@Anonymous , just how much other applications are using. Sometimes other applications start consuming CPU and Ram and Power BI do not get it, especially browsers.

That would make sense if I was using close to 100% of resources, but overall utilization of my CPU and RAM is now around 30%
