PBI freezes when trying to publish (and also cancelling it)

I am trying to publish a report.

When I click publish, the "Publishing" pop-up appears and freezes.

The "Cancel" button can be clicked. It  starts cancelling and freezes as well.

PBI desktop: Version: 2.49.4831.521 64-bit

Hi @pedro_viana,

There aren't any special requirements for publishing to Service. Let's do some troubleshooting.

Trouble information:

1. The small dotted cycle is rolling, but no further response. Right?

2. What's the size of your file?

3. Did you publish it to your default workspace (My workspace)?

Steps you can try:

1. Open Power BI Service, get data - file - your pbix. Check if this can be done.

2. Create a new simple test file. Then try to publish it to the Service.

3. Did you publish it to your default workspace (My workspace)?

Yes

Steps you can try:

1. Open Power BI Service, get data - file - your pbix. Check if this can be done.

This worked and now I seem to be able to publish again. Thanks!
