Hi,
i have a PBI Report (connected to SSAS model) that turned painfully slowly and it seems to be because of a custom visual Hierarchy Slicer (it's free, can't say anything, but i don't know why MS doesn't develop one, eventually better, if it's possible...) and poor DW design (yes, i know, i know, i know ...)
a
The error that appears on all the other visuals is "Couldn't load the data for this visual. The query contains a filter wih too many values. For queries against this model and server, the maxium number of values allowed in a single filter is 500. Please reduce the number of selected values in the filter".
If i remove the visual or change to a slicer. The information appears again without problems.
I can't change the DW, and the table that feeds this visual has 670K lines... is there any miracle option that can solve this problem?
Generally speaking - and with my total respect for Developers of custom visuals - is there any kind of problem with custom visuals that make them more slower, instable or wherever on PBI reports?
Regards
