Greetings to all
I'm new to the power bi world. I have a point-in-time problem with the connectors to the DB. Since power bi desktop I manage to connect to my postgresql base on linux, I have done it with the PBID connector and with odbc. The problem is when I export the model to PBI Service in the MS cloud, the connection does not work. I've read several posts from here and elsewhere, but they're not clear in the solutions. In the end they recommend using a gateway on a windows virtual machine, and from there connect to postgresql. I think there must be some direct way to connect the postgresql running in linux to power bi services.
has anyone done it yet?
thank you in advance for your help

The way I did it was with the gateway connected to a virtual machine with odbc installed. I don't know any other way.
