P&L calculation in Finance income report

Hi,

I am working on a P&L Finance income report, below is my report

neelofarshama_0-1605114791361.png

The report has Revenue and Expense with many sub categories.

My requirement is to sum up the values of these sub categories and calculate "EBITDA" = Revenue - Expense

I have already calculated this EBITDA it is working fine for all categories except YTD categories as shown below

For some reason the highlighted values are showing wrong and I could'nt figure out why

YTD Actual = Rev(211,133) - Exp(-226723)= 15590 but 70,499 is thevalues Power BI is populating.

I dont understand this behaviour of Power BI where all values are correct except these totals.

Please help me to figure this out.

@neelofarshama,

Would you post your measures so we can review the DAX?

Helpful article on measure totals:

Hello,

Thank you for the response below are the DAX I used

YTD Actual = -TOTALYTD([Total$],Append1[Date].[Date])/1000
YTD Actual PY = -TOTALYTD([Total$],SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(Append1[Date].[Date]))/1000
YTD Actual vs Budget = [YTD Actual] - [YTD Budget]
YTD Budget = TOTALYTD([Budget],Append1[Date].[Date])
Total$ = sum(Append1[AMT_ACTUAL])
Append1 is my table
Please check these DAX and let me know if i am wrong
