My requirement is to override the previous value of employee.
Example:
sample Date
Date Area TimeType Total hours Emp name
9/5/16 Bangalore Regula Hours 4 XYZ
9/5/16 Not assigned Regula Hours 4 XYZ
9/6/16 Pune Regula Hours 6 ABC
9/6/16 Not assigned Regular hours 3 ABC
Required output should be like this:
Date Area TimeType Total hours EMp Name
9/5/16 Bangalore Regula Hours 8 XYZ
9/6/16 Pune Regula Hours 9 ABC

You can create a summarized table based on original data table.
Emp Table2 = SUMMARIZE ( 'Employee Table', 'Employee Table'[Date], "Area", CALCULATE ( FIRSTNONBLANK ( 'Employee Table'[Area], 1 ), 'Employee Table'[Area] <> "Not assigned" ), "TimeType", FIRSTNONBLANK ( 'Employee Table'[TimeType], 1 ), "Total hours", SUM ( 'Employee Table'[Totalhours] ), "EMp Name", FIRSTNONBLANK ( 'Employee Table'[Emp name], 1 ) )
