Overall - Average - Multiple Measures

Hello

I created manually one new column per each "MonthYear" such as "Dec2017", "Jan2018", "Feb2018 for my matrix visual. Is there way to calculate a overall Average ?

I have a matrix as below and each month is a individual measure. I would like to have a column at the end with a overall average per row

Hi,

There should not be a need to write one measure per month.  If you can share the data (such that can be pasted in an Excel file) and describe the question, i can help.

Hello Ashish

I only found this wasy i can not unpivot my table, otherwise it will break my other relationships

I already the put my need  in my previous comment.

I would like to do an overall average measure based on the measure per month

@Anonymous ,

You may try the measure below.

Measure =
AVERAGEX (
    UNION ( ROW ( "Value", [Measure 1] ), ROW ( "Value", [Measure 2] ) ),
    [Value]
)

Does the "Union" work with only two measures? I m trying to include more than 2 and it is now working

Hello @v-chuncz-msft

I was able to replicate your measure in my matrix. Thanks for that.

Now, would it be possible to create a overall avg based on the column? to display on bottom of the matrix?
