Oracle data sourced reports are failing since morning

some of my power bi reports are using oracle as a data source and these reports are failing with the following errors (including desktop error and Power BI Service error).

I thought there is a problem with the oracle server but when I run queries on the oracle server by using SQL Navigator and it is working fine.

I have also installed the latest Gateway.

Any help from the community is much appreciated.

@rocky09 seems like at the time of your test, oracle was in process of shutting down, that's what the message is saying. Although you mentioned you tried with other tools but do you want to try again in Power BI and see if it up and running now.

@parry2k  thank you for your reply. I have tried and running the queries in power bi. It is throwing this issue randomly.

@rocky09 cannot say much but it seems like the issue is on database side or maybe network issue, very hard to say when it is failing intermittently.

I would  Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!
