[Oracle Database] Unable to connect to OD in an existing file

When I try to connect to Oracle Database in an existing file, in which this connection was working perfectly some days ago, I receive the message:

DataSource.Error: An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'
Details:
DataSourceKind=Oracle
DataSourcePath: /*database name*/

On the other hand, when I try to connect Oracle Database from a new/blank file, it works perfectly!

I've checked, and in both advanced editor logs, the fragment to access Oracle Database are identical.

Please, what should I do? I mean, all oracle comments have been installed correctly. Otherwise, neither an existing query nor a blank one would work.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Try to clear and change the data source credentials, see if it will work.

On the Help ribbon, select About, then check the Version line to determine which version of Power BI Desktop is installed.  Then determine which version of Oracle client is installed. Refer to Manage your data source - Oracle for detail.

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,
Winniz
