Only show opening and ending balance totals for the dates between the slicer?

Hello community, 

I have create a table which has two dax forumlas for the opening balance and ending balance for someones leave type. 

When using a date slicer to filter the dates, the open and ending balance shows all the values for each previous month in the table. See below:

How would I be able to filter is the date slicer like I have above, and for the opening and ending balance to only show the months selected and not all the previous months beforehand. I just what the opening and ending totals in the table, and not all the previous months before.

I stupidly just needed to change the relationship to both ways.
