On-premises data gateway with different users

Hi there,

I have a newbie's question: we have succesfully configured an on-premises data gateway on our datawarehouse server, with a given user, and able to connect to this data gateway, upload power bi reports, schedule data refresh for datasets, etc. Now, we want to add a new user to be able to connect to the same on-premises data gateway installed on our datawarehouse server, but not sure how to do it. I guess that by signing-in with this new user on our on-premises data gateway, we'll be able to set-up the data gateway for this user, without breaking the gateway connection that's running with the first user,  but I'm not sure if this is the right way to do it?

Thanks

Hello,

I understand that users management should be performed by accessing the site https://powerbi.microsoft.com with the first admin user, and not from the server where the gateway is installed. Is that correct ? Anyhow I've tried to manage the administrators of the gateway from the powerbi site, and added one user as admin of the gateway but it I get an error:

I've also tried to manage users for the data source, and tried to add a new user but I still get an error:

Thanks !

@aidadesarrollo

The users that you want to add his email account need to have your same domain  and also have a PBI account.

Have this?

I have the same problem. How to solve this if users have different domains?

Have you been able to set up a gateway for users from different domains?
