On-Prem Gate way

I have a excel file in on-premise sharepoint. I connected to sharepoint by using one drive from my laptop and installed on-premise data gateway enterprise version in sharepoint machine. But i am facing issues with gate way and unable to edit the excel file in sharepoint drive.
