On-Prem Data Gateway (Enterprise): Gateway Credential VS User Credential

if the user creates the report by connecting to the data source with his/her credential and publishes the report to Power BI service. 

Then he/she schedules the report to be refreshed via On-prem data gateway. 

He/she goes to "Dataset"--> Select "the data"-->  Select the gateway.....    all fine. 

When the gateway refreshes the report, will it use "Gateway credential / Technical user"  or use the user's credential inside the report? 

I hope it will be refreshed based on user's credential inside the report.  

Please confirm.

Oh no.

The reason why I asked is that the gateway may be higher access rights to the data source than the user ( i.e. Report Creator). 

For example, the Report Creator pulls the data for certain Countries (like UK, Germany) but when after the refresh, all Countries (UK, Germany and other countries) will be displayed.  Then it is not Ok 😞

I tested and it seemed that the data refresh based on the user's credential,  at least I don't see "more countries".

But I'm not sure.
