I have two calculated measures that I am trying to create a calculated column on but I am receiving odd results
Total_Tries Wins Win Rate
594 281 281
1209 160 160
I am writing my last column as Win Rate = DIVIDE([Wins], [Total_Tries])
I was expecting to get the values 47.3% and 13.23%, but instead my calculation is only returning the value of "Wins".
Any ideas why this may be happening?
Solved! Go to Solution.
you should have received an error because you cannot divide by 0 but since you already have a measure to get the sum of tries you might as well do a measure to calculate the win percentage.
Measure =DIVIDE([Wins], [Total_Tries])

Thank you! For some reason, I made the assumption I would need to use a calculated column so it would work row wise. It makes sense now that I should have used a calculated metric instead.
