Hello all,
I'm using a direct query dataset, getting data from views in an Oracle db.
These views gives me an URL which is quite long indeed but was working fine so far.
Since 2 days, some of my visuals do not work anymore, the error details gives me the "ORA 00997: illegal use of LONG dataype" message.
Evrything is working fine in Oracle, the power query editor shows me the data, no problem on those sides.
It's only when I want to use this field in a visual that I recently receives the error.
Anybody have an idea how to go around this issue ?
Thanks,

Hello all, and thanks for your support, you helped me find what append.
It was effectively a pb in my database, a wrong use of a "with" statement.
What suprised me is that PowerBi was integrating the datas but didn't managed to show results as visuals.
It's now in order,
thanks again,
Damien.

Hi @DamienD ,
This error looks more like the Oracle database error. Can you check your queries for you view on the database?
