OLE DB or ODBC error with Jira_PowerBI_ContentPack use

Hello,

I am getting OLE DB or ODBC error when I try using Jira_PowerBI_ContentPack.pbit.

Does anyone have some advice what are necessary settings to get Jira-Power BI connection work? Thank you!

Hello Henry,

With help of Power BI community in my company, this problem is now solved. The issue was that the URL I copy-pasted was ending with "/", which then introduced an error in the complete URL for REST API, there was "...//rest/..."

Best regards!

Hi @Anonymous ,

This connection has a 100 record limit in JIRA, because the JIRA content pack in the power BI service depends on the JIRA API. It may be the cause of the above error.

May wish to recreate the link. First, you need an API token for the account and ust it to connect the Jira Power BI Content Pack. You can refer to the link provided for the next steps:

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and operation screenshot. Looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,
Henry

Thank you for the response, Henry!

I cannot find Apps in Power BI Desktop to be able to add API Token to Jira Power BI Content package, as I followe instructions on the link you sent. Could you please guide me how to find Apps, since I can see Apps only in Power BI Service? Thank you!
