ODBC NetSuite Connection to Power BI: How to learn NetSuite Schema

Hello,

I am new to Power BI and NetSuite. I am able to connect Power BI to NetSuite via an odbc connection, but I have come to relize that there needs to be an understaning of NetSuite's schema to effectivley create desired reports. Unfortuantly, I am coming up short on educational materials. I have come across NetSuite's schema browser, but it does not help since I lack general knowledge on how it works.

Does anyone know of any materials I can review to learn NetSuite's Schema so that I may build reports using Power BI?

Hi, I followed the Netsuite documentation. Company pays the analitycs suite,  download the Netsuite odbc, install it and  put the URL, port, Account ID, Role ID, Netsuite2.com User and Password. 
I connect with Sql server Managment systems and work, but with Power Bi i get this error:
Detail:: "ODBC: ERROR [S1000] [NetSuite][ODBC 64bit driver][OpenAccess SDK SQL Engine]Check your login credentials (username and password) and connection attributes (account ID and role ID), and then try again.. Error ticket# lnooquryftvsiqmrv7ra[224]

But in the SSMS works fine. Any Help?

Sorry for the late response. Yes, I became a master of our NetSuite Schema without the help of third parties. Connecting to NetSuite via an ODBC is the easy part. It only requires having SuiteAnalytics and the ability to download the driver. Once connected, it is easy to get lost in the data depending on the customization within you system.

I have discovered a few things which made it easier to understand. The first thing is that there is system tables you could query on to retrieve table relationships, column names, and other stuff. That was really helpful, but I didn't figure it out until painfully piecing the data together manually.

Also, NetSuite has a schema browser which allows you to looks up various tables and see the tables keys and etc. It is not the greatest, especially when you system is more custom. Although, it can get you in the right direction.

Can you please specify several system tables you've mentioned?

The ones that have relationships etc..

Also, when you publish Power BI to the service - where do you install the Gateway?
