Not able to Load a custom map in ShapeMAp as well as Drilldown Choropleth

Hi All,

I am a dummy in  Power BI. I am using Power Bi desktop 2.56.5023.942 64-bit (March 2018) ( not licensed version) .  I want to add a custom map of a particular city. I have a json file of that map also. But while using Shape map i am not able to see the Shape tab option to load a custom Map.  This is same happening with me for Drilldown Choropleth how to go about it? can Anyone help me it would be great.

Hi @akshah,

I cannot reproduce this problem on my side. The Custom map option is visible in my desktop. Someone mentioned here that some certain funcionality might not work until a restart of PC.  Besides, update your desktop to the latest version for a test.

Hello,

I noticed that "Shape" menu is not available in format pane, until you fill-in the "value" field in the data pane.
