Not Recognizing data type as Date, even though that's what's selected

Hi,

I am trying to perform a rolling average calculation, and I have the following DAX:

when i try putting the measure into a table, i get this message:

You can clearly see though that the column I used is a DATE... Does anyone have any insights?

Is the POS column a date as well?

I feel incredibly dumb. I was copying the DAX from someone else in my company who had done the calculation before and I didn't catch that I put the wrong column in. Thank you for the second set of eyes!

I've totally never ever done anything like that at all.  😁

Glad I could help!
