No field formatting options for Matrix visual in powerbi desktop

I have some Matrix visuals in powerbi desktop, and the values (numeric) are being displayed right-aligned. I wan't to display them centered, but after selecting the visual and going to the formatting tab, the 'Field formatting' dropdown does not contain any formatting option, just 'Revert to default' (see screenshot below).

Anyone know why the there's no alignment option being displayed, or how do I achieve this goal?

thanks.

Hi !

It seems you have selected some other object which is overlaying on your table / matrix viusal. Please check did you see Values & Total option in Format pane for visual. If not then you have def. selected some other object.

Try using Selection Pane to select Matrix visual.

Regards,

Hasham

HI @Anonymous,

You can click on matrix visual and navigate to the 'format' tab, then scroll down to find out the 'field formatting' option and you will find the 'alignment' property.
