New user help with organization of data for graphing

I have a dataset that is based on time  ... so about 30 times an hour a take a snapshot of data in 10 different categories.

What I want to do is have the category on the Y axis and time across the X.   Although a stacked bar that just summarizes the data for the range of time is acceptable.. the ideal would be to see data change over time.

Here is a basic example of the data... I have no idea how to organize this in Power BI.

Re: New user help with organization of data for graphing

Hi @nblair,

Have you tried Upivoting all the category columns to a "Category Type" and a "Category Value" column first, then try to show it on a Line Chart or Stacked Column Chart?

Here is an article about how to Pivot and Unpivot with Power BI for your reference. Smiley Happy
