I am creating a report which shows metrics for month to date. The days of the month are pivoted into new columns.
As the month progresses, new data is added and so new pivoted columns. For example, on the 17th there are 17 pivoted columns and on the 18th there are 18.
The new column appears in Power BI Desktop as available to select to add to a table graphic. Is there a way to specify to enable the new column automatically to save the dashboard from requiring editing daily?
Many thanks in advance
Hi @Anonymous ,
Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently. You can post your new idea here https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas , to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
Best Regards,
Amy
