New measure

Hi everyone,

 

I am new to Power BI and DAX. The diagram was what I was able to design. I would like to do the following calculation but i dont know how to go about it, any little help will really go a a long way.

 

I would like to Calculate

1) alarms per day/week/month (per XXX-turbine-atrribute)

2) new alarms per day/week/month

hi, @igiiwe

You may just use COUNTA Function to create two simple formula as below:

alarms=CALCULATE(COUNTA(Alert ID))

and 

new alarms=CALCULATE(COUNTA(Alert ID), Type="new")

 

then darg the date field into axis and use Drill mode in a visualization in Power BI.
