Set up new dedicated PC as the gateway. Connection to one server with SQL db connects no issues. Connection to company LAN drive to an excel file fails. Original gateway had no such issues. I had to create a new gateway bc I was not aware a recovery key was created for the first original.
I am using the correct windows credentials and the match the original.
I think I can save the excel file to the local drive on the new PC and make it work but that is not a longterm solution.
