New format pane, not a fan.

Hope I'm not raining on any parades, but the new formatting pane seems to take twice as many clicks as before, and seems more confusing.

The twirl control is still present, is still an extra click.

The settings are split between two General and Visual "panes" now.

Settings that don't apply are still shown, but greyed out. 

Why are we exposing settings that don't apply to the current selection?

Where do we submit this feedback?

The new format pane has really changed a lot.

• If you need to turn off the preview, go to File > Options and settings > Options > Preview features > New Format pane.
• We encourage you to give us feedback about why you're turning it off. Select Share feedback link next to the New format pane checkbox, and let us know.

Thank you, was having trouble locating documentation on the new feature. Search and highlighting is nice. I'll give it some time and see if I can warm up to it.
