New To Power BI and LOVE IT! Question on "tagging" bar charts

Just leanring Power BI and I think it's is incredibly powerful and great! It will take us to the next level as insights will be at the fingertips of everybody now! I feel that formatting is especially tough though and was wondering if it would be possible to do the below:

Have a sales line chart by week and then for certain weeks, "tag" it with bar to denote a promotion. I used to do it in excel by having two rows of data, one with sales and the other with promoted weeks by simply tagging promoted weeks with a "1" and then doing a dual axis chart. This visually makes it easy to see which weeks were promoted. In essence the bar was used as a tag.

Any ideas or is this out of scope of PowerBI?

Thanks!

Randy

Hello

Have you tried using lines and bars chart?

Using the lines to highlight the promotions, defining as line thickness 0 but showing marker?

In "Format Panel" --> Shapes --> Stroke With = 0

In "Format Panel" --> Shapes --> Show Maker --> On

Best regards
