New Oct 2020 version of Power BI desktop slow?

I don’t know if it is just coincidence, but it seems to be taking much longer to add, amend and refresh import queries in the new Oct 2020 version of Power BI desktop. Much much longer. I am checking performance using different laptops and versions, to try isolate the problem. In the meantime, I just wondered if anyone else is experiencing slowness with the new Oct 2020 version of Power BI desktop and SQL import queries.  Note I do mean Power BI desktop  and not Power BI service.
